Six Flags
Everyone has that one special place where they just love to be. My
special place would have to be Six Flags Great Adventure. Six Flags fills me up
with exciting and joyful memories. I love roller coasters, so Six Flags is a great
location for me.
One of the tremendous times I’ve had at Six Flags Great Adventure was
the time I experienced my first exhilarating roller coaster. I went on Nitro
with my cousin Moudi, and it was his first roller coaster also. We were on the
first seat and as we were slowly ascending, Moudi started to tear up. I tried to
comfort him but the more we escalated up into sky, the more Moudi would go
berserk. People behind us started to notice and stare. As the water works
erupted from his glossy eyes, I knew I had to react fast.
“ This is it.” Whimpered Moudi shakily, in between sobs as we were about
to go down.
I punched him in the shoulder and shouted at him to get himself
together. He was flabbergasted, but didn’t have that much time to completely
react. We were launched down and my stomach dropped. The wind rushed at
my face like a tornado, and the sound of shrieks and thrills of teenagers filled
my ears as I began to smile. I glanced at Moudi and realised that he had
stopped crying, and that a huge grin appeared on his red, tear covered face.
After the ride, I told him that I will always tease him for acting like a baby and
crying on that ride.
Another memory I have of Six Flags is not a very pleasing one. I was nine
years old and my family and I were about to go home. As we were walking
towards the exit, I began to meander ahead of my family. I had realised that I
was lost. I glanced around me, but no one to my familiarity was near. Scared
but calm, I approached a worker and informed him that I was lost. He was
about to help me- when I saw my mom. I bolted to her right away.
All in all, Six Flags Great Adventure can be easily defined as an exciting
and joyous place that brings back the memories dearest to my heart, and
where great adventures are experienced.
